AWARD SURVEY FOR 2010/2011

SURVEY TO PARENTS:


This survey was sent out to parents in all 52 states in the US and in Canada. Out of the 29,000 we approached, 97% said they would prefer to buy a product, especially a book, toy or game, if it had won an award and specifically, if it was displayed on the front cover/package. Additionally, they would prefer to choose to visit a website, listen to a specific Radio Program and/or watch a TV Show/Program or Movie, if it had won an award that came from REAL parents, such as the Parent to Parent Life Buzz Award.

Out of those surveyed, 95% said that the name, "Parent to Parent Life Buzz Award," was more meaningful and instantly inspired them to strongly consider purchasing a product, visit a website, listen to a specific Radio Program, watch a TV Show or Movie, that displayed this award over a similar one.

SURVEY TO MEDIA:

The second survey went out to the media. Out of 3,247 editors, reporters and journalists, 93% said that in 2011 and in the upcoming years, (2011 and beyond), they will continue to place award-winning products in a top priority category when considering a pitch or plug for an item and/or for an article, story or interview -- especially for books, music CDs and DVDs, games, toys, websites, Radio and TV Programs and Movies. Almost half of those who responded were writers and journalists who focus on newspaper, magazine, Radio and TV Programs. A little more of half, 53%, were either a part of a "decision-making" team, or the person in charge, of making the final decision on which products would be highlighted and/or recommended for a story, article, column or other. Award-winning products were almost always chosen first. This feedback included Editor-in-Chiefs, Producers, and Department Editors. PLEASE NOTE: This is priceless marketing and packaging information presented to you straight from the media. Basically, it's confirming a higher percentage in potential opportunities for an award-winning product over one that has not met the award-winning status. It's also one of the very best reasons to continue in securing awards for your products.
